The Downtown 91原创 Business Association presents , the annual festival of local food, Aug. 24, offering tasty fun for the whole family.
鈥淲hile many food festivals focus on a particular kind of food or drink, Fork & Finger celebrates the many amazing restaurants in Downtown 91原创. Every year we hear that visitors have found their new favourite restaurant, or a hidden gem they didn鈥檛 realize was right in their own community,鈥� says Teri James, DLBA executive director. 鈥淲ith your Fork & Finger Passport and $5 Samplers, you can try something new at an affordable price, and we always hear that people can鈥檛 believe how big the portions were!鈥�
(Hint: When you get full 鈥� because you will! 鈥� purchase a few extra $5 Samplers to-go and enjoy them for dinner!)
鈥淥ne-third of the restaurants featured on the Fork & Finger Passport have not participated before. The word is out that this is a great event to be a part of!鈥� James says.

Stop by the DLBA table in McBurney Plaza to pick up your Fork & Finger Passport and a list of restaurants, or !
Visit the $5 Sampler locations and for each purchase, you鈥檒l receive a sticker. Collect at least three stickers and return your Passport to McBurney Plaza by 4 p.m. to be entered to win a share of more than $1,000 Downtown Dollars!
The is also providing $5 sampler coupons to the first 250 people who pick up their Fork & Finger Passports. Use your coupon to purchase a $5 sampler at any of the participating restaurants, which are reimbursed for those coupons by the DLBA.
And to satisfy your sweet tooth, Discover 91原创 City is sharing free cupcakes from Lemon Bakery, while supplies last!
Delicious demos
Live demonstrations will again feature local products available from businesses in Downtown 91原创, including All of Oils and 1 Fish 2 Fish, and whenever possible chefs feature locally sourced products.
Returning favourites include Kevin Legge of Big Dog BBQ, who鈥檒l be grilling all day and handing out samples. 鈥淜evin was a huge hit in 2018 and he really adds a lot to the event with his knowledge and love of all things barbecue,鈥� James says.
Cooking up awesome entertainment
Head to the live demo stage in McBurney Plaza to catch award-winning celebrity chef Spencer Watts, whose impressive resume includes TV shows Fish the Dish, Watts on the Grill and Spencer鈥檚 Big 30, all airing in 30+ countries around the world.
