Two of the four finalists for Coach of the Year are from 91原创.

The Province鈥檚 Head of the Class coach category has online voting for the four finalists with the winner announced in June. People can vote once per day per email address.

Carol Hofer is at 91原创 Christian School and coaches volleyball. She has been coaching at the high school, provincial and university levels for both males and females.

In 2015 her 91原创 Christian varsity junior boys to a provincial title, repeating the feat with the senior boys in 2016.

Rory Allen coaches basketball at D.W. Poppy Secondary. The head of the school鈥檚 science department has coached for more than a quarter century.

鈥淚t sort of becomes this lifelong gig,鈥� Allen said. 鈥淚 can鈥檛 imagine not doing it. It would be weird to come in here and not coach. I might be at home at a reasonable time, but to not be in the gym, I would feel a real sense of detachment from my school community.鈥�

They are up against two coaches from Burnaby.
