It was another lopsided win over the Fraser Valley team.

The Valley Huskers couldn鈥檛 catch a break in the Sept. 9 game against the 91原创 Rams.

The Rams left it all on the field in a 45-3 home victory at McLeod Athletic Park.

Under grey skies and light rain, the Rams led from the first quarter.

The statistics tell much of the story of the mismatch between the two teams. In the first half, the Rams had nine first downs, in the second they had eight.

The Huskers, by contrast, managed just a single first down in the first half, two in the second.

Khalik Johnson made three touchdowns for the Rams, with Stephen Legare and Nathan Lund each adding one as well.

Jonaus Levac added three field goals, and a single.

The Rams didn鈥檛 stop until the very end, topping up their score with a 35-yard field goal in the last 11 seconds, kicked in by Levac.

Teams in the BC Football Conference remain wildly uneven.

The Okanagan Sun and Westshore Rebels lead the league, with five wins a piece. The Rebels have a single loss and the Sun have yet to be beaten this season.

The VI Raiders and the 91原创 Rams sit in the middle of the conference with three wins each.

Meanwhile, the Broncos and Huskers bring up the rear. The Huskers have yet to win a game but have racked up six losses.

The Rams continue playing at home for the next two weeks. On Sept. 15 they鈥檒l meet the Kamloops Broncos at 5 p.m. on the field at McLeod. On Sept. 23 at 4 p.m., it鈥檚 the powerhouse Rebels who will visit 91原创.
