Former NHL goalie Richard Brodeur is part of the team putting on this year鈥檚 10th annual Diabetes Canada Golf Tournament in Fort 91原创.
The Fort 91原创 Golf Course will hold the event, Sunday, June 11, with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
鈥淭hus far we have raised a total of $140,000 for diabetes research from this annual event,鈥� said organizer Joey Gibbons.
Brodeur is a diabetic himself, said Gibbons.
The tournament fees are $100 for members of the public, $50 for club members. The event will give out prizes of long drives, a putting contest, and other events.
