Down to final four at Jr. Boys Basketball Invitational Tournament

From 32 at the beginning, four teams remain standing in the hunt for championship glory at the Junior Boys Basketball Invitational Tournament at 91Ô­´´ Events Centre.

Oak Bay Bays, Vancouver College Fighting Irish, St. Patrick Celtics and Terry Fox Ravens were all winners on Sunday, FGeb. 26 during the quarter-final round.

Oak Bay, Vancouver College and St. Patrick were the tournament’s top three seeds while the Ravens checked in at No. 5.

The 32-team tournament is being co-hosted by Brookswood Secondary and R.E. Mountain Secondary.

Going in to Tuesday, R.E. Mountain Eagles had won one and lost four, while Brookswood Bobcats had won two and lost three.

The four-day event kicked off on February 24 and runs through February 27 with all 80 games being played at 91Ô­´´ Events Centre.

The champion will be crowned Tuesday night (Feb. 27) with the last two teams remaining tipping off at 7:00pm.
