Swimmers were encouraged to wear red and white to enter a draw and win swimming passes and lessons.
The newly redone Penzer Action Park, home of Canada鈥檚 largest outdoor Parkour park hosted the PKBC 11 Parkour Jam with Parkour professionals showing their skills.
The Township of 91原创 hosted at Willoughby Community Park next to the 91原创 Events Centre and in Fort 91原创.
There were long lineups at Willoughby for the photo booth to have pictures taken for a photo mosaic mural project to mark Canada鈥檚 150 birthday.
Thousands of individual portraits of residents will make up the Community of Communities Photo Mosaic Mural which will be displayed as a public art piece in a community facility.
Willoughby Community Park was the site of the 91原创 Canada Day JRBQ sponsored by the Township, 91原创 Events Centre, and 93.7 JRfm along with title sponsor C&D Logistics.
Visitors enjoyed live musical performances and entertainment, a spray park, food trucks, and a barbecue to benefit Basics for Babies, which supports Lower Mainland Food Banks by providing diapers, baby food, formula, and other items for infants in need.

There were many other events throughout the 91原创s, including the Aldergrove Legion on Fraser Highway, site of an old-fashioned 鈥渟ports day鈥 with contests like a water balloon toss, three-legged races, sack races, wheelbarrow races, an obstacle course, and prizes and treat packages for participants.
At the 91原创 BMX track, where the Borderline Nationals were underway, the national anthem was sung by , the Vancouver girl who performed 80 national anthems in 80 countries around the world to raise money for orphaned and abandoned children.
