Jason de Roy, fire chief, said the new members and truck will be part of Squad 4, which will carry four firefighters.
鈥淭hese critical milestones would not have been possible without our mayor and council, so thank you for making public safety a priority,鈥 de Roy said at the announcement.
Township Mayor Eric Woodward said there is 鈥渟trong support on council today鈥 to invest in public safety within the Township.
鈥淚t鈥檚 important to have everyone working together within the Township of 91原创 to enhance public safety,鈥 Woodward said.
He added that this is a step forward in addressing the growth in 91原创 Township and the challenges it brings.
鈥淐ongratulations to the new recruits,鈥 he concluded.
