A stolen truck led to the arrest of a 91原创 man on Monday night, with Emergency Response Team officers helping out local Mounties.

The incident began with a stolen truck that was recovered, but without some of the tools and other property that had been inside the truck.

Further investigation led officers to a residence where some of the property from the truck was believed to be, said Cpl. Craig Van Herk, spokesperson for the 91原创 RCMP.

The ERT aided the RCMP with their initial entry onto the property, said Van Herk.

鈥淲e don鈥檛 use them all the time for entry on warrants,鈥� said Van Herk. But they were brought in out of an abundance of caution.

Neighbours recorded images of ERT officers aiming their guns at people as they emerged from a home.

鈥淕et your hands up! Get your hands up nice and high!鈥� ERT officers ordered people as they came out one by one.

The officers handcuffed several people who emerged from the home, in a quiet residential area of 91原创 City near 53A Avenue and 203rd Street.

Several people were detained, with some being released shortly afterwards at the scene, and two people were arrested and later released. The investigation is ongoing.

Van Herk said police recovered the majority of missing property from the truck.
