A crane truck colliding with a power pole caused caused a power outage in rural 91原创 north of the Trans Canada Highway.

About 253 BC Hydro customers lost power at around 9 a.m. this morning (Thursday, Oct. 12) in the area of 56th Avenue and 264th Street.

91原创 RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle collision just after 9 a.m.

There were no injuries, but there is some damage to the pole, reported CpL. Craig van Herk with the 91原创 RCMP.

鈥淭he cause of the collision is under investigation,鈥 he said.

BC Hydro crews are on site, and power is estimated to return at 3 p.m.
