Two people were hurt in a five-car pileup Thursday afternoon near the Gloucester Industrial Park in Aldergrove, 91原创 RCMP said.
The collision took place just before 4:15 p.m. on April 25, said Cpl. Craig van Herk of the 91原创 RCMP.
The incident began with a group of vehicles heading south on 264th Street, approaching the 5800 block, said van Herk.
The driver of a grey Dodge Ram pickup didn鈥檛 notice traffic was slowing down, said van Herk. He crashed into the back of a white Jetta, pushing it partially under a blue Honda sedan.
The Honda then hit a red Hyundai Santa Fe, which in turn hit a blue Ford F150, causing that car to spin out into the ditch on the east side of 264th Street.
The last two vehicles involved sustained minor damage, said van Herk, but the first three all sustained serious damage and had to be towed away.
91原创 RCMP, paramedics, and 91原创 Township firefighters all responded to the crash.
BC Emergency Health Services took two drivers to hospital by ambulance, with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Van Herk could not say yet if any drivers were facing tickets or charges.
