Another overheight commercial vehicle has collided with an overpass in 91原创, although the damage in this case appears to be minor, according to the B.C. Ministry of Transportation.
A flatbed truck heading westbound on Highway One approached the CPKC Rail overpass on Tuesday afternoon.
The cargo, a large cube van, apparently made contact with the overpass.
鈥淭he ministry鈥檚 maintenance contractor will examine the crossing for damage, but it鈥檚 expected that it would be cosmetic damage only given the minor damage to the cargo,鈥� said a statement from the Ministry of Transportation.
鈥淭he vehicle has pulled over, and CVSE is investigating,鈥� it added.
Social media accounts suggested the truck actually paused before trying to get under the overpass, then attempted it anyway, resulting in contact between the cube van and the overpass.
I've now heard a report that the load has damage to the front of the box of the load and is on the other side of the overpass.

It seems this is longer a near miss.
