Verma is described as South Asian, five-foot-three, with a slim build and dark hair.

The Surrey RCMP is asking for the public’s help in finding a 38-year-old woman who was reported missing Aug. 19.

Investigators from the Surrey RCMP missing persons unit spoke with Charlotte Verma on the phone Aug. 26 but have been unable to locate her and meet with her in person "to confirm her well-being," notes a Surrey RCMP news release Wednesday (Sept. 11).

Police say it is unusual for her to be out of contact with her family for this long. She was believed to have been seen in the area of Sendall Gardens (20210 50 Ave.) in 91Ô´´ on Aug. 28.

Verma is described as South Asian, five-foot-three, with a slim build and dark hair. Surrey RCMP say she may be driving her grey 2014 Volkswagen Jetta, with British Columbia licence plate GS6 80B.

Police ask anyone with information about Verma to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 and quote file #2024-122922 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or visit .
