Surrey RCMP are appealing for witnesses to a pedestrian hit-and-run 鈥� as well the driver involved 鈥� to come forward.

According to a news release, a man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries just before 5 p.m. on April 21, after he was struck by a truck near the 19100-block of 74 Avenue.

鈥淭hankfully the pedestrian was not seriously injured as a result of the collision,鈥� Cpl. James Mason said in the release.

鈥淧olice are urging the driver involved in the collision to do the right thing and come forward.鈥�

Police believe the vehicle involved 鈥� described as a grey, two-door pickup with a rear seat, black box liner and silver wheels with seven spokes 鈥� sustained damage to its front passenger side.
