Gunfire is expected to ring out during filming at the Fort 91原创 Airport during July.
91原创 Township said as per its film policy, it and the production company notify local residents and businesses within a one-kilometre radius of the filming location. Fort 91原创 is just under three kilometres from the airport.
"The Township is conscientious about noise from filming and how it may impact our residents, so we have standard protocols in place," the Township said in a statement.
Filming is taking place on the east end of the airport land, which is private property, on July 12, 15 and 19, during daylight hours, and residents in that area have been notified, the Township said.
"Areas across the river were also notified as noise travels much more easily across water than land," the statement added.
The City of Maple Ridge took to social media to inform residents that they may be hearing some noise from the neighbours.
"Expect daytime noise: Simulated gun battles w/ prop weapons. Gunfire may carry across the Fraser River. No night scenes," the city posted on X (former Twitter).
