People who have warm clothes that are gently used (and clean) and not worn anymore have an opportunity to give it away to a good cause.
On Tuesday, Nov. 28, the Satellite Rotary Club of 91原创 Central Sunset is hosting its seventh annual warm clothing drive to help 91原创鈥檚 most vulnerable.
鈥淚n these difficult times, your warm clothing donation will go a long way to help those in need,鈥 said Kadonah Davis, coordinator for this year鈥檚 drive.
Unique this year is an optional drive-thru to drop off donations.
Clothing, blankets, hats, mittens, socks, and sweaters are needed, Davis said.
鈥淲e are grateful for initiatives like the Rotary Club鈥檚 annual warm clothing drive where we can work together to tangible meet human needs and be a transforming influence in our 91原创 community,鈥 commented Justin Napier, executive director of the Gateway of Hope.
Donations can be dropped off at the 91原创 Senior鈥檚 Resource Centre from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28. Club members will be on site to receive donated items.
Anyone with questions can email info@langleycentralsunset.ca.
The centre is at 20605 51b Ave.
