Purses in parked cars in 91原创 too tempting for thieves

The 91原创 RCMP has made public several photos from recent petty crimes to help identify suspects.

Two local women learned the hard way that leaving a purse in a vehicle can lead to big headaches.

A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked at the Houston Trail on April 11.

鈥淎 credit card was used later that day at a Subway in Walnut Grove and police allege the pictured female completed the transaction,鈥 said 91原创 RCMP Cpl. Holly Largy.

The woman who used the credit card is described as Caucasian, in her mid 30鈥檚, 5鈥5鈥 tall, dark hair in a ponytail and she was wearing tights, a pink shirt and a workout coat.

On May 9, another vehicle and another purse stolen.

鈥淭he owner鈥檚 purse was taken from the vehicle along with a sweater, blue and green rugby cleats,鈥 Largy said.

A stolen credit card was then used at the Brookswood 7-Eleven.

The RCMP has released photos related to these two incidents and several others in the community.

On April 26, a man is alleged to have used a stolen credit card for purchases at a liquor store, Save-On Foods and a 7-Eleven.

A man barred from the 91原创 City 7-Eleven is accused of assaulting a clerk on May 9. Police are investigating the incident and looking to identify the man. He is described as Caucasian, in his 40s, with long blond hair, and he was wearing sunglasses, a white and grey jacket and a black bandanna.

On May 12, a woman entered 7-Eleven in 91原创 City and stole various food products. She is described as Caucasian, approximately 5鈥5鈥 tall, and wearing dark clothing, Largy said.

Police are also looking for a male who stole a variety of liquor from the BC Liquor Store in Aldergrove on April 6. He was seen leaving in a white Toyota Echo.

The store was the scene of another theft. On May 8, a man is alleged to have stolen several bottles of vodka. He was described as Caucasian and wearing a red hoody.

On April 21 a barn was broken into in the south Aldergrove area and a 20014 Schwinn, 24-speed bike was stolen. It has 26-inch wheels, a tear in the seat and a broken front sprocket.

A man is alleged to have stolen several packages of cigarettes from the Shell Station in North 91原创 on May 14 and police have released a photo to help in the investigation.

Recently a man entered a business and allegedly stole a laptop computer. He is described as Caucasian. He was wearing a black hat, jeans and a dark work shirt. He wore a brace on his right wrist and was seen leaving in a black Chrysler Aspen, Largy said.
