B.C. Premier David Eby will speak in Abbotsford at the inaugural Fraser Valley Economic Summit on Tuesday, May 21.

The premier will provide an official government address at noon, followed by an onstage question-and-answer period to the approximately 200 business leaders attending.

鈥淲hen the people and businesses of the Fraser Valley succeed, our entire province succeeds. This region is an economic driver for British Columbia, and we are focused on building a strong economy that benefits businesses and the people who keep them running,鈥� said Premier David Eby.

鈥淢y team and I are focused on helping small and growing businesses succeed with relief for everyday costs, strengthening health care and housing, supporting B.C. agriculture and increasing food security, and enhancing the transportation and infrastructure like Highway 1 that keeps our goods and people moving.鈥�

The summit will be held at the University of the Fraser Valley in Evered Hall on from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those interested can still register to attend at .

The four Chambers of Commerce from Abbotsford, 91原创, Chilliwack and Mission united in March to form the Fraser Valley Business Coalition.

The coalition serves as a unified group to address critical issues facing businesses in the Fraser Valley region.
