Maxime Bernier, leader of the People's Party of Canada (PPC), is making a campaign stop in 91原创 on Sunday, April 13.

Bernier will be at the Glass House Estate Winery at 23449 0 Ave. from 6-8 p.m.

Aeriol Alderking is the candidate in the Abbotsford-South 91原创 riding that Bernier will be visiting.

The PPC party is currently polling sixth among major parties in Canada, behind the Green Party and Bloc Quebecois.

The right-wing party was founded by Bernier in 2018 shortly after he quit the Conservative Party, in which he had served as a senior minister during the Stephen Harper government. In the 2021 federal election, the party received 4.9 per cent of the total national vote, but did not see any of its candidates elected as MPs.

The party is running candidates in all three 91原创-area ridings.
