Power has been restored to Donna Gabriel Robins Elementary, a voting place for the 91原创-Walnut Grove riding.

As of 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, Donna Gabriel Robins Elementary lost power, a voting place for the 91原创-Walnut Grove riding.
According to BC Hydro, a crew is on site and the outage is under investigation. About 1,595 residences are without power.
On its site, has posted updates to voting places affected by power outages.
Of 91原创's three ridings, only 91原创-Walnut Grove has lost power.
"The voting place is temporarily closed due to a power outage. Election officials are onsite to direct voters to alternative voting opportunities," reads the notice.
Alternative voting places for 91原创-Walnut Grove are:
- Alex Hope Elementary at 21150 85 Ave.
- Dorothy Peacock Elementary at 8877 Bartlett St.
- 91原创 Fine Arts School at 9096 Trattle St.
- Lynn Fripps Elementary at 21020 83 Ave.
- R.E. Mountain Secondary at 7633 202A St.
- Richard Bulpitt Elementary at 20965 77A Ave.
- Sandman Hotel at 8828 201 St.
- Topham Elementary at 21555 91 Ave.
- Walnut Grove Secondary at 8919 Walnut Grove Dr.
- West 91原创 Elementary at 9403 212 St.
- Yorkson Creed Middle School at 20686 84 Ave.
According to a special weather statement from Environment Canada, an atmospheric river is impacting B.C. and bringing a prolonged period of heavy rain to the Fraser Valley.
The downfall is expected to continue into Sunday morning, Oct. 20.
Environment Canada warns of water pooling on the roads, swollen rivers and creeks, increased risk of washouts, rockfall, and landslides, and power outages possible from tree damage due to winds.
