One injured in Aldergrove motorcycle crash

A 50-year-old man from 91原创 suffered 'relatively minor' injuries in a collision with a Jeep in Aldergrove Saturday afternoon, police said.

A motorcyclist suffered what were described as "relatively minor" injuries by police in a collision with a Jeep Saturday afternoon, Sept. 28 in Aldergrove.

It happened around 12:30 p.m. in the 26900 block of Fraser Highway.

91原创 RCMP said the victim, a 50-year-old 91原创 man, was transported to hospital in Abbotsford for treatment.

Accounts posted to social media said it appeared the Jeep was pulling into the parking lot of the Aldergrove Dairy Queen on Fraser when the crash occurred, knocking the rider off his motorcycle.

One witness said the injured man was conscious and talking following the crash.

Police said the crash was still being investigated and no charges had been laid.

It was the fourth collision involving a motorcycle within two weeks in 91原创 and Aldergrove. 

On Sept 17, a crash involving  a motorcycle and a pickup truck in the same stretch of Fraser in Aldergrove as the Saturday, Sept. 28 crash resulted in the death of a 22-year-old Abbotsford man.

Sept.19, a motorcyclist died in a collision with a car while  travelling east on Highway 1 near 240 St.

Sept. 24, a motorcyclist was injured in a crash with a dump truck in 91原创 on Fraser Highway and 232 St.
