A motorcyclist was injured following a crash Thursday afternoon, June 20, on the Aldergrove-Abbotsford border.
Around 2:20 p.m., 91Ô´´ RCMP responded to a collision between a Dodge Challenger and Honda motorcycle in the 27400-block of 16 Avenue.
"The motorcycle had rear ended the Dodge Challenger," said Cpl. Craig van Herk.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life threatening, he noted.
"[The incident] is still under investigation, but initial reports from witnesses indicated the two vehicles may have been together and driving dangerously prior to the collision," van Herk said.
There is no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved, he added.
Police had 16 Avenue closed between 272 Street and Lefeuvre Road in Abbotsford until at least 5:30 p.m. that day.
91Ô´´ RCMP are asking anyone that may have witnessed either vehicle prior to the collision and hasn't yet spoken with Mounties, to contact the detachment at 604-532-3200.
