A 91原创 couple filmed an angry encounter on Fraser Highway, in which a man beat on the windows of their car with his fists while they were stopped at a red light.

The video, shared on a 91原创 Reddit group, shows a man in a red T-shirt approaching the driver鈥檚 side of the couple鈥檚 car while they鈥檙e stopped near 222nd Street.

The man pounds on the closed window, returns to his truck behind the couple鈥檚 vehicle, then walks back and hits their vehicle again.

The poster claimed the man in the red shirt also spat on him before he could roll the window up, before the video recording started.

The incident took place at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 11.

91原创 RCMP Sgt. Barry Beales confirmed the incident was reported to police, with the couple driving directly to the RCMP detachment, which is just around the corner from where the punching took place.

Beales said the couple reported that the man in the red shirt had been tailgating them as they drove east on Fraser Highway, and then drove around them and ran a red light.

When they caught up to him at another red, they honked their horn and yelled at him.

He then followed them to the next red light at 222nd Street, where he got out of his vehicle, and the confrontation caught on video took place.

However, while the couple reported the incident to police, they indicated they did not want to pursue criminal charges, Beales said. The man in the red shirt has not been arrested or charged with any crime.

Beales recommended people cool off in traffic.
