91Ô´´ parents, who rang in the new year with a new addition – a baby boy – did not consent to provide more information to media, confirmed a Fraser Health spokesperson.
Last year too, the hospital said they welcomed a baby boy, but the family also did not consent to providing information to media.
More families are requesting privacy because of COVID and other reasons, a spokesperson told the 91Ô´´ Advance Times.
In 2021, Lacey Christink and Jason Saharkoat welcomed 91Ô´´â€™s first baby at 3:25 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
B.C.’s first baby was born at exactly 12 a.m. at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, the province announced Monday.
While not many details have been released, the province says the baby was 6 pounds 14 ounces.
