According to one witness, close to a dozen first responder vehicles, police, fire and ambulance, arrived at the building in the 5000 block of 204 Street on Monday morning, July 1, cordoning off the road for several hours.

"Officers were able to successfully and safely remove this individual from their residence who was then transported to a hospital to receive appropriate care," the police statement said.
By mid-morning officers had left the scene and residents were allowed to return to their homes.
"91Ô´´ RCMP understands the importance of mental health and would like to reassure the public there is currently no ongoing risk," the statement added.
