91原创 buses are becoming less and less efficient, according to the recent Bus Priority Vision report released by TransLink.

The transit report identified 20 corridors throughout Metro Vancouver that require immediate investments toward bus priority in order to help reduce bus delays due to traffic congestion.

TransLink CEO Kevin Quinn said that worsening traffic in the past few years has led to their customers spending longer time stuck on buses.

鈥淏us delays cost us more than $80 million each year, and we are committed to developing new bus priority measures that will mitigate those costs and get our customers where they need to go faster,鈥� said Quinn.

The study revealed the biggest local priority as the 200th Street corridor that connects to Golden Ears Way and over the Golden Ears Bridge which is used by the 501 and 595 buses.
