Staff and students at Kwantlen Polytechnic University鈥檚 91原创 campus greenhouses were in lockdown for under an hour Tuesday afternoon, April 16.
91原创 RCMP arrived on campus at about 12:58 p.m. searching near the greenhouses for a suspect.
As of 1:20 p.m., police initiated the lockdown as a 鈥減recaution,鈥� according to updates on the university鈥檚 website. Police searched the northeast side of the 91原创 Bypass.
The lockdown was lifted at 1:42 p.m., although police remain on scene.
The rest of the 91原创 campus was not impacted.
