A pair of power failures mid-day on Tuesday, June 4 knocked out electricity to hundreds of people in rural 91原创.
The first power failure happened at around 9:50 a.m., according to BC Hydro鈥檚 outage site, and was centred on 72 Avenue and 256 Street. It impacted 622 customers, said BC Hydro, and the cause, as of mid-day Tuesday, was unknown. Crews were working to restore power.
Another power failure at 11:19 a.m. began in the area north of Fraser Highway and southeast of Milner, centered around 232 Street and approximately 62 Avenue. This outage affected another 914 customers.
Hydro reported the cause was an object on the power lines.
Tuesday was another rainy, cool, and blustery day in 91原创, following a significant amount of rain over the previous weekend.
