With winter upon us, the Greater Vancouver Zoo is getting in the Christmas holiday spirit and hosting their first-ever 鈥淎rctic Nights鈥 event this weekend.
The three-day event runs from Friday to Sunday, Dec. 15 to 17, 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. each day.
From illuminated animal silhouettes to winter story telling, visitors will get to experience the northern landscape in their home town.
鈥淛oin in the fun with educational activities, and capture memorable moments with our winter-themed photo-op,鈥 said Joshua Banta, marketing supervisor at the zoo.
Tickets are $18, or $16.50 for members, and include a specialty peppermint hot chocolate, coffee, or tea, and a ride on the winter-themed train around the zoo.
