One of Netflix's recent TV series filmed in Fort 91Ô´´, the latest high-profile program to take advantage of the village's backdrop.
Dead Boy Detectives premiered in late April, and filmed in Vancouver, Surrey, 91Ô´´, Richmond, and the small town of Shirley on Vancouver Island.
The show is about a pair of teenaged ghosts, Edwin Payne (George Rexstrew) and Charles Rowland (Jayden Revri), who become supernatural mystery-solvers after their deaths.
The characters originally appeared in Sandman comics published by DC Comics, and later appeared in a number of other titles under the Vertigo imprint, which focused on supernatural themes and was aimed at adult readers.
Fort 91Ô´´ has been a popular filming location for years, with everything from horror movies to TV-movie holiday romances using the area's streets and buildings. It often plays small town American locations.
Other high-profile Netflix shows from Virgin River to the live-action remake of Avatar: The Last Airbender have also filmed in 91Ô´´ in recent years.
