Two people were taken to hospital to be checked out after a car ran into the front of a business at a mall in Murrayville on Thursday, June 20.

The incident took place at 2:10 p.m. at 222 Street and 48 Avenue, said Cpl. Craig van Herk, spokesperson for the 91原创 RCMP.

A white 2018 Tesla apparently drove forward and hit the front of the building.

The driver and passenger were checked out by BC Emergency Health Services paramedics, and were taken to hospital for further assessment.

Neither drugs nor alcohol are believed to have been factors in the crash.

The car was towed shortly after the incident. The business that was struck remained open, van Herk said.
