The Beatles spirit continues to live on in pop culture and the hearts of millions of fans.
A Vancouver-based group called Fab Fourever, which formed in 2006, will be in 91原创 on Saturday, June 24 at George Preston Recreation Centre.
Charles Boname (who plays George) said the band formed through a shared love for The Beatles.
鈥淚t is a privilege to be able to reproduce this great music as close to the original as possible,鈥 he said.
The band recently took on a new Paul McCartney, which has breathed 鈥渘ew life into the act鈥 and keeps things fresh, Boname added.
Hits and hidden gems like 鈥淗ard Day鈥檚 Night,鈥 鈥淗ey Jude,鈥 鈥淎ll My Loving,鈥 and 鈥淗ere Comes the Sun鈥 are songs from their usual set-list 鈥 but it depends on the show.
Boname said they plan to cover as much of The Beatles repertoire as possible this Saturday, to give the audience a piece of each era.
鈥淲e love playing and it remains super fun for us to play before an enthusiastic live audience.鈥

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.

In 2018, The Fab Fourever were invited to represent Canada at the International Beatle-week in Liverpool, England. They performed 10 shows in a span of seven days during the festival to an audience that represented some 50 plus countries worldwide.
