An Aldergrove resident is $50,000 richer after winning big on a scratch ticket purchased in Abbotsford.
Matthew Zomar received a Jack Frost scratch and win ticket for Christmas and said he couldn鈥檛 believe his eyes when he saw the win.
鈥淚 was on an adrenaline rush and couldn鈥檛 fall asleep until 4:00 a.m.,鈥� he stated. 鈥溾�淚 was shaking and had my mom look the ticket over to make sure it was correct.鈥�
The $50,000 is the top prize available for the Jack Frost ticket. Zomar has plans to take a trip to Mexico with part of his prize and will also purchase a new truck.
The winning ticket was purchased from Walmart on Mt. Lehman Road in Abbotsford鈥檚 Highstreet Shopping Centre.
