The hosted its annual Community Day Open House on Saturday, May 6 featuring a free children鈥檚 concert, 鈥淎 Young Person鈥檚 Guide to the String Quartet鈥� with the Rose Gellert String Quartet.
For many young visitors it was an opportunity to try instruments, meet teachers, get information about programs and enrichment classes, and to pre-register for next year.
The 91原创 Community Music School first opened its doors in 1969.
It鈥檚 current 19,000 sq. ft. facility opened in 2001, in the same City Park location as the original school buildings.
