The Aldergrove Business Association is offering a $500 prize for the winner of the third annual spring clean up contest.

The contest runs from April 5 to 12, and is to encourage Aldergrove businesses to shine up their storefronts, whether that's washing windows, sweeping sidewalks, putting on a fresh coat of paint, scrubbing awnings, doing repairs, or updating lighting.

Businesses then submit photos of the work they've done to beautify their business, and by extension their community, to be eligible for the prize. Last year's winner was Veronica's Gourmet Perogies. Janda Group is sponsoring the $500 prize.

The business that submits the most photos of their beautification efforts wins. Check the for where to text the photos.

The association is also holding its annual general meeting on Thursday, April 3 at 91原创 Meals on Wheels, 2900 272 St. The ABA will be supplying sandwiches, snacks and beverages. All Aldergrove businesses are invited to attend. Businesses must be ABA members to vote. The meeting includes a review of successes and challenges from last year, and upcoming goals.
