Tracy Roper, one of the Top 15 finalists in Shape Your World Society鈥檚 , is helping to organize a special fundraiser for women at the Gateway of Hope.

On March 23 at 6 p.m., join Roper and her team, the Pink Ladies, at Rusty鈥檚 Neighbourhood Pub in Cloverdale for a pub night.

There the team 鈥� made up of Roper, Tina Toal, Teresa Gentle, Taryn Marcotte, Jennifer Petrichenko, Gay Calestagne, Carol Segura and Sylvia Dudek 鈥� will be collecting cash, and donations of purses and personal hygiene items to create 鈥渃are packages鈥� for 50 women who use the shelter.

The fundraiser is part of Segment 2 of the Total Makeover Challenge, known as 鈥淭he Apprentice,鈥� where teams have to plan their own event.

There will be a raffle, 50/50 and door prizes. Tickets are $20 for a burger and beer and are available at the Willoughby Shoppers Drug Mart at their Cosmetics Gala on Saturday, March 18 from 12 to 5 p.m.
