Metis Nation B.C. is looking to capture the essence of modern day Metis life.
The organization is looking for six to 10 Metis people who are interested in participating in ‘Gathering Stories,’ a film at Fort 91Ô´´ that aims to represent the variety in Metis culture today.
The candidates must have Métis regalia or Métis artistic skills such as fiddling, jigging or beading.
The group is seeking people of all ages for six hours of filming on March 19.
An honorarium of $200 is available and travel costs will be covered. Anyone interested can email bbertrand@mnbc.ca until March 13 to sign up.
