With regards to the four City-owned buildings that are starting to get demolished, I wanted to express my disappointment and sorrow at such a loss for 91原创鈥檚 history.
They have finished demolishing the first of the four buildings and will be moving on the next three in the next few weeks or months.
I wish that City council would have decided on saving our history, instead of creating an entertainment district and a civic precinct.
The 91原创 Hotel was built in the 1940s. Then when the hotel became popular, postcards of it started selling.
In the late 1950s, 91原创 City was founded.
In the 1990s, the 91原创 Hotel was expanded and renovated. This building is in its 80s.
By tearing down this monument, we losing a part of the area鈥檚 standing history.
