Dear Editor:
While I concur with Matthew Claxton with his assessment of banks I don鈥檛 agree with his generalization of wealthy people.
Many wealthy people contribute their time and money to worthy causes.
In B.C. Rudy North, founder of North Growth Management Ltd and Tides Canada CEO Ross McMillan work towards conservation efforts of the Great Bear Rain Forest.
U.S. Industry titans have joined Warren Buffet鈥檚 The Giving Pledge to give half or all of their wealth to charities. Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Michael Bloomberg, Paul Allen and Ronald Perlman, etc.
To paint all people who are fortunate to accumulate wealth with the greed brush is distinctly unfair.
