Rappers T.I., Fat Joe and Fabolous headline upcoming Abbotsford concert

It's set to be a 2000s throwback hip hop celebration at Abbotsford's Tradex on Friday, Oct. 4.

Rapprs T.I., Fat Joe and Fabolous headline an upcoming concert, which was announced last week.

Atlanta's T.I., aka: Tip, had his studio album debut in 2003 and is a three-time Grammy award winner.

His sixth album, Paper Trail (2008), is the most commercially successful of his career and spawned the hit "Live Your Life" with Rihanna. T.I. has also collaborated with Destiny's Child, Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke on the hit "Blurred Lines".

He's appeared in several movies including American Gangster, Get Hard, Entourage, Ant-Man and Popstar: Never Stop Popping. Over his career he has released 11 studio albums and is planning to release a 12th soon.

Fat Joe is best known for his work with the Terror Squad group which formed in the late-'90s. The hit single "What's Luv" featuring Ja Rule and Ashanti reached number two on the charts in 2002 and "Lean Back" topped the charts in 2004.

His career began in 1992 and he's released 10 solo studio albums as well as five collaborative albums. Fat Joe has been nominated five times for a Grammy. He's also appeared in several movies including Scary Movie 3 and Happy Feet.

The New York City product is set to turn 54 in August.

Brooklyn rapper Fabolous released his debut album Ghetto Fabolous in 2001. He's gone on to release seven studio albums, the most recent being 2019's Summertime Shootout 3: Coldest Summer Ever.

His early biggest hit single was "Can't Deny It" featuring Nate Dogg.

Fabolous has been nominated for two Grammy's and has also appeared on TV shows The Apprentice and Keeping up with the Kardashians. His fourth and fifth albums, From Nothin' to Somethin' (2007) and Loso's Way (2009) were his most successful commercially, peaking at numbers two and one on the , respectively.

From Nothin' to Somethin' featured the hit single "Make Me Better," which spent 14 weeks at number one on Billboard's rap charts.

Aside from the three artists, others being featured at Tradex include: Domani, Terell Safadi, Qwiss, Vicky Chand, Hayz, DJ Physik and Sid Smooth.

Tickets for the show range in price from $102 to $178. There is also a shuttle available that picks up and drops off fans at Vancouver's Plaza of Nations.
