Dino Kambeitz, here fighting Abbotsford's Noah Juulsen in 2022, has signed a one-year deal with the Abbotsford Canucks.

The Abbotsford Canucks have inked forward Dino Kambeitz to a one-year American Hockey League contract.

The 6-2 right winger has spent the past three seasons with the Bakersfield Condors and has collected 44 points in 172 games.

In 15 career games against Abbotsford he scored four points.

Prior to turning pro, Kambeitz played for both the Victoria Royals and Lethbridge Hurricanes of the Western Hockey League. He served as the captain in Lethbridge in his final season in the WHL in 2020-21. He recorded 92 points in 211 games in the WHL. He signed as an undrafted free agent with Bakersfield after his time in the WHL.

Kambeitz played minor hockey in his native Colorado and then moved to Calgary's Edge School hockey program to further develop his game.

The Abbotsford Canucks open the AHL season in Calgary on Oct. 11 and then host the San Diego Gulls for the team's home opener on Oct. 25.
