A former 91原创 man who posed as a Catholic priest is facing numerous child sex charges in Edmonton. More charges were added late this week after two more victims were identified.
Justin Georges Stephen Coulombe moved to the Edmonton area from 91原创 earlier this year, according to a statement from the ALERT Internet Child Exploitation Unit.
Coulombe has been charged with:
鈥 luring to commit the making of child pornography (x2);
鈥 luring to commit an offence against a child;
鈥 sexual interference;
鈥 invitation to sexual touching;
鈥 sexual assault;
鈥 possession of child pornography; and
鈥 extortion.
Since ALERT鈥檚 original release about Coulombe was issued on Aug. 1, the ICE Unit has had numerous tips from the public forwarded to them from local police and Crime Stoppers. The victims who came forward this week recounted past incidents of sexual offences. As with the previous cases, ICE has no evidence in these new cases to suggest victims were lured while Coulombe was posing as a Catholic priest.
鈥淲e would continue to encourage anyone with any information 鈥 no matter how old it is 鈥 to contact their local police or Crime Stoppers,鈥 said Det. Brian Cross of the ICE Unit. 鈥淩egardless of how much time has passed, that information is still very important to our investigation.鈥

The two new victims are from Edmonton. The additional charges include: four counts of sexual interference and one count of invitation to sexual touching.
The investigation began after the mother of one of two alleged victims came forward with information about sexually graphic messages that had been exchanged online for several months.
ICE alleges that the relationship between Coulombe and the boy became sexual.
Offenses against the second victim were committed online only.
On July 27, investigators seized electronic devices and arrested Coulombe at a north Edmonton home.
Although Coulombe purports to be a priest, he has no affiliation with any diocese in Canada or the United States, according to the ICE statement.
He is presently released on his recognizance, under strict condition. He was expected to appear in court Aug. 21 but he has a new bail hearing next week.
The Facebook page of a Justin-Georges S. Coulombe references moving from the Lower Mainland to Edmonton in January. It includes posts referencing his 鈥渏ob鈥 as a priest, although there are no references to a specific church or job duties.
