The media landscape has been revolutionized in recent years and, at the Advance, we have constantly positioned ourselves to make use of that new technology to serve our readers better.

Hard to believe it was almost two decade ago now that we initially grasped at the internet like a shiny new toy and began throwing stories and pictures onto it.

We also opened our stories up for interactivity and felt, 鈥淎h, we鈥檙e digital.鈥�

But then that shiny new toy got bigger and bigger and started going faster and faster because consumers demanded more.

As technology continues to evolve and change, so to do we.

Working rather unceremoniously behind the scenes for years now, the 91原创 Advance team has evolved, taking this publication from a weekly newspaper with a digital presence, to an online source you can rely on 24/7 for breaking local news and happenings.

Rest assured, we still remain dedicated to delivering the traditional newspaper that is so familiar to many, and we know there are still many people loyal to the tangible act of holding a newspaper in their hands. And they won鈥檛 be left behind.

But, we also recognize our readership is changing and we鈥檝e created a new website that we hope helps make it easier for the growing number of 91原创 Advance readers to consume their news and information online.

Today we launch our new website (but with the same address 鈥� ) to bring you the news, information, and advertising in the way you want it 鈥� whether it鈥檚 on your mobile phone, tablet or computer.

We hope you enjoy this new, and more responsive website, which will work on any device. All our stories, pictures, and videos will give you the same news experience no matter what device you receive it on.

And it will do it better in a nicer looking, better organized layout that is easy to navigate.

But it鈥檚 not just a matter of delivery, it鈥檚 also a matter of what鈥檚 being delivered.

We are no longer weekly newspaper reporters with a deadline or two a week. We are now a daily 鈥� even hourly 鈥� news team.

As soon as news comes in, our digital platform gives us the ability to deliver it to you.
