Impaired driver caught in Mission after calling 911 for help

A 91Ô­´´ driver was issued a 90-day driving prohibition after failing two roadside screening tests last Saturday (Dec. 7).

An impaired driver from 91Ô­´´ was caught by police last weekend after calling 911 for help. 

Mission RCMP said a man called 911 asking for help on Saturday (Dec. 7) evening before the call disconnected. 

The detachment determined the call came from the Lost Creek Forest Service Road area in Hatzic.  Upon arrival, police found a Porsche Boxster stuck on some rocks on the side of the Forest Service Road.  

Mounties say the 23-year-old driver showed signs of impairment and failed two roadside screening tests.  

He received a 90-day driving prohibition and his vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
