When Jacqueline McKamey moved to Aldergrove last October, she immediately held a Halloween haunted house and spooky party.
"My friend, who is from here, and I decided that we were going to hold a Halloween get-together and haunted house, since my kids and I were new to town, to get to know the community," she told The Star.
The first year was a huge success, so much so that McKamey is making it an annual tradition.
Their spooky festivities kick off with a Halloween party on Saturday, Oct. 26, starting at 7 p.m. at their house, 27257 28A Ave.
The party will have music, dancing, treats, beer pong, darts, and even hot tubbing for those who bring bathing suits and their own towels. Kids are also welcome.
The haunted house runs every night after the Oct. 26 from 7:30 to 9 p.m. On Halloween, Oct. 31, the haunted house is open until 11 p.m.
"It's in the backyard. When you come in the gate, the [haunted house] goes from the gate into the backyard and into a big shed," McKamey said.
All are welcome, and McKamey hopes guests have a great time.
