A musical that 鈥渓ovingly lampoons鈥� the 鈥淔riends鈥� TV show is coming to Surrey.
Right Angle Entertainment鈥檚 touring show is a 鈥渃omedic musical that lovingly pokes fun at TV鈥檚 鈥楩riends,鈥� celebrating the adventures of your favorite group of 20-something friends as they navigate the pitfalls of work, life and love in 1990s Manhattan.鈥�
Live Nation Entertainment has announced 鈥淔RIENDS! The Musical Parody鈥� dates at Surrey鈥檚 Bell Performing Arts Centre on Feb. 1, 2022, Victoria鈥檚 Royal Theatre (Feb. 2) and Kelowna Community Theatre (Feb. 3).

The show, recommended for viewers aged 13 and older, was an off-Broadway hit, according to an event advisory.
The plot: 鈥淚t鈥檚 a typical day at New York鈥檚 only coffee shop, Central Perk, until an unexpected runaway bride enters the picture and kicks the whole gang out of second gear. The musical recreates our favourite moments from all 10 years of 鈥楩riends鈥� through an uncensored, fast-paced, music-filled romp.鈥�
Songs in the musical include 鈥淗ow You Doin鈥�?鈥� (sung by the Joey character), 鈥淲e Were On A Break!鈥� (Ross), 鈥淭he Ballad of Fat Monica,鈥� 鈥淐ould I BE Anymore鈥n Love with You鈥� (Chandler) and 鈥淲e鈥檒l Always Be There For You.鈥�
