Folk powerhouse pair will be playing at 91原创鈥檚 this Friday (July 14) at 8 p.m.
The dynamic duo of Cara Luft and JD Edwards play constrasting styles, with Luft鈥檚 folkie yin providing a perfect match for Edwards鈥� rocker yang. The two began playing together accidently, after they were thrown together for an anniversary show in Winnipeg.
Their 2016 debut album 鈥淲ondrous Traveler鈥� is steeped in classic song structure, delivering appealing melodic Americana with first-rate playing. The album was nominated for two Canadian Folk Music Awards: English Songwriter of the Year and New Artist/Group of the Year.
