Music is as much an integral part of our lives as it is an essential element to our culture. Join us this season as we partake in exciting musical adventures together.鈥
Titled 鈥淲hat is Life? Of Shadows, Cradles, and the Blues,鈥 Schlosser's performance will feature works by composers Brahms, Howells and Rzewski.
It promises to be a unique program, with the work by young aboriginal composer Howells involving audience participation to recreate the sound of a buffalo jump.
鈥淚 play a foot drum that was designed specifically for this piece, done by the composer himself,鈥 says Schlosser.
The series continues on Nov. 4 at 3 p.m., with Eugene Skovorodnikov, piano and LCMS faculty member Yuri Zaidenberg, violin as they present some of Schubert鈥檚 masterworks.
