Join local author and artist as she releases two new children鈥檚 books.

On Sunday, April 15, the public is invited to the official launch for Pillow Friends and Jack鈥檚 Zoo Safari from 7 to 9 p.m. at Blink & Brow Co. (5499 Salt Lane).

Both books 鈥� written in rhyme 鈥� were inspired by Tetar鈥檚 grandchildren, and are suitable for children aged 0 to 8.

鈥淏oth books are part of a series and very fun and enjoyable to read anytime of day, but a nice bedtime story,鈥� Tetar told the Times.

鈥�Pillow Friends is about a little girl who goes to bed with all her stuffed animals. They come to life and keep her company and entertain her. It is funny and the animals are delightful.

鈥�Jack鈥檚 Zoo Safari is about a little boy鈥檚 trip to the zoo. He takes along his family and some of Maiya鈥檚 friends. It is fun, adventuresome and wonderful for any child who uses their imagination while at the zoo.鈥�

The books can be purchased from Chapters and Coles in 91原创, as well as select children鈥檚 stores.

Tetar will also be doing a book signing at the Coles in Willowbrook Shopping Centre (19705 Fraser Hwy) on Saturday, April 21 from 1 to 3 p.m.
