Well known singer-songwriter Linnea Good will present a concert in 91Ô´´ on Sunday, March 18 at 7 p.m.
Good and drummer David Jonsson have been a team in music-making for the past decade and a half, and each of them has been in ministry with children for much longer than that.
Good is one of Canada’s best loved faith singer-songwriters for all ages. She has a masters degree in religious education, with a focus on music as a tool in Christian education. Her last family album, Swimmin’ Like a Bird, received three nominations for major Canadian awards as outstanding children’s album of the year.
Jonsson’s years of drumming with multi-award winning children’s performers, Charlotte Diamond and Fred Penner, have given him an intuitive feel for song-leading with people of all ages and abilities.
This event is sponsored by the United Churches of 91Ô´´ and will be held at the Murrayville Five Corners location, 216 Street and 48 Avenue.
Tickets are available by calling 604-530-2929 or 604-530-4571 and are: adults $15; youth (6-18) $10; children 5 and under are free; family $35.
