Vehicles from the very genesis of automotives will be on display at the B.C. Farm Museum for the annual Model A Sunday celebration on June 3.

The vehicles were made before 1930, the truly oldest of the old cars and trucks, and this is the 30th year for this display.

The Vintage Car Club of Canada provides the horsepower and the museum provides the venue, and the complement of two big buildings full of antique and vintage artifacts.

There were about 55 vehicles on display last year. The vehicle owners come from far and wide to take part in this annual tradition.

鈥淚鈥檝e got cars coming from Chase. I鈥檝e got cars coming from Seattle,鈥 said organizer Mike McVay.

He鈥檚 a volunteer with the farm museum and a car buff who invites everyone down to see the unique auto show which also features food and refreshments, and a live band.

Admission to the farm museum that day is by donation, and activities go from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There鈥檚 no cost for vehicles to take part in the show 鈥檔 shine outside the museum and entrants receive dash plaques.
